The tip jar at the donut shop is a real joke, you don't get served, you come to the counter and now they don't even put the cream and sugar in your coffee you have to go to the side and do it yourself. ..... That being said, It's become part of a tradition/routine or shall I say a morally appreciative agreement between a customer and the waitstaff at a restaurant. Tipping is, as I said before, a THANK YOU, because someone else is doing for you what you can easily do ...
